How we work
Appointments and emergencies
We want to take enough time for every patient, which is why we work by appointment only. Please arrange an appointment by phone, by e-mail or through the online booking. For emergencies we are glad to see you at short notice — here too, please call ahead.
Thorough and honest explanations
We explain your animal’s condition and illness thoroughly and honestly, along with the treatment options available. Together with you we choose the therapy that suits your animal best.
A gentle and patient approach to every patient, large or small, matters a great deal to us. If your animal is particularly anxious or agitated, please tell us when you book, so that we can allow enough time. Where necessary we use calming or anxiolytic medication.
Puppies welcome
We love puppies, and we want your dog to enjoy coming to the practice. You are very welcome to drop in with your puppy for an introductory visit. That way your puppy can look around in peace, collect a few treats and build positive first associations with the smell of the vet.
Referrals
For specialist examinations or orthopaedic procedures we refer you, with all findings to date, to specialised practices or veterinary hospitals.
Costs and billing
Treatment is billed according to the German scale of fees for veterinarians (GOT). Before extensive investigations or surgical procedures you receive a cost estimate from us in advance.
